Job summary

KAPITAL is seeking a senior Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll specialist in the United States to lead functional activities spanning requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support. You will configure and support Payroll Elements, Entries, Definitions, Relationships, Balances, Fast Formulas, and Payroll Processing, while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Job description

• Lead functional activities for Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Configure and support Payroll Elements, Element Entries, Payroll Definitions, Payroll Relationships, Calculation Cards, Balances, Fast Formulas, and Payroll Processing.
• Manage end-to-end payroll processes including payroll calculation, prepayments, payments, costing, reconciliation, and payroll close activities.
• Configure and troubleshoot earnings, deductions, taxes, benefits-related payroll elements, retroactive processing, and balance calculations.
• Develop and maintain complex Fast Formulas for payroll calculations, eligibility, validations, and business rules.
• Support US Payroll requirements, including federal, state, and local taxation, where applicable.
• Support integrations between Payroll and other Oracle HCM modules such as Core HR, Benefits, Absence Management, Time & Labor, and Compensation.
• Analyze payroll processing errors, identify root causes, and provide timely functional resolutions.
• Perform payroll reconciliation and validation to ensure accurate employee payments and financial postings.
• Prepare functional design documents, configuration documents, test scripts, and user documentation.
• Lead or support SIT, UAT, parallel payroll testing, regression testing, and production cutover activities.
• Collaborate closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on Oracle Payroll best practices and recommend process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Oracle HCM/Payroll experience, with strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll.
• Strong functional knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes and payroll configuration.
• Hands-on experience with Payroll Elements, Fast Formulas, Balances, Calculation Cards, Payroll Flows, Costing, Retro Pay, and Payroll Reconciliation.
• Experience integrating Payroll with Core HR, Benefits, Absence, and/or Time & Labor.
• Experience with at least 2 full lifecycle Oracle HCM Cloud implementations is preferred.
• Strong understanding of payroll testing, parallel payroll validation, and production support.
