Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking an Oracle HCM Lead Technical Analyst to lead support for SaaS and enterprise-wide applications and to guide configuration, data governance, and reporting initiatives at our Cleveland HQ. You will mentor teams, manage data loading, and coordinate with stakeholders to optimize system performance.

Qualifications

Job description

The Oracle HCM Lead Technical Analyst role is responsible for leading the support for software-as-a-service(SaaS) and enterprise-wide applications necessary for the collection, retrieval, accessibility and usage of data forinternal department planning and activities. The incumbent will lead the partnership with technical teams toensure software systems are running efficiently with minimal downtime. The incumbent will be responsible formanaging configuration, set up, and updates to the applications, validating that their team has entered data intoestablished tables, fields, and system databases with the highest level of accuracy. The incumbent is an expert indeveloping custom queries and building reports utilizing query and flexible reporting tools to facilitate businessmanagement decisions. The role will provide strategic advice to management concerning changes in applicationsdevelopment, maintenance and system standards to optimize performance and mitigate potential risk with theability to analyze various metrics to monitor performance and provide insights to management. The incumbent willlead and mentor the team responsible for training users on the applications and setting up user access. They willsupervise the collaboration between cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to provide sufficient supportfor the enterprise-wide applications.


  • Lead the support for software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise-wide applications by providing guidance ondeveloping and identifying design considerations and business impacts needed for configuration
  • Drive quality of data for internal department planning and activities
  • Lead configuration, setup, and updating of applications, and provide guidance as needed
  • Manage data loading process into established tables, fields, and system databases
  • Review and approve governance standards and processes for data input, structures, and storage mechanisms
  • Lead the team in building reports and provide strategic insights and recommendations related to businessmanagement and staff decisions
  • Lead and mentor the team responsible for training users on the applications and setting up user access
  • Provide strategic recommendations for changes in applications development, maintenance, and systemstandards
  • Establish and share Enterprise-wide Applications perspective when collaborating with cross-functional technicalteams within the organization, to ensure the integration and interoperability of enterprise-wide systems
  • Lead and liaise with client stakeholders and external vendors to ensure support for enterprise-wide applications

This position is not hybrid/remote and will be located at our Cleveland Headquarters office.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employmentwithout now or in the future requiring sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. In lieu of a degree, at least 9 years of experience in enterprise-wide software support
  • 6+ years of experience in enterprise-wide software support with in-depth knowledge of software development methodologies
  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise-wide applications and software platforms
  • Experience managing software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise-wide systems
  • Expertise in configuring and setting up various enterprise-wide applications
  • Experience applying security designs and principles to technology-based business solutions
  • Experience leading teams and overseeing database management and maintenance
  • Ability to develop and review complex custom queries using query and reporting tools
  • Extensive knowledge of data management best practices and quality control processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft, and/or Oracle
  • 5 years Oracle application experience with various Human Capital Management (HCM) modules focusing on Core HR, OLC,Talent and Succession planningmodules.
  • Additionalmodule experience (i.e., Oracle Performance, Workforce Compensation, Oracle Recruiting Cloud)ispreferred but notrequired.
  • Develop solutions to leverage Oracle HCM Cloud applications functionality
  • Experience in Redwoodand AIenablement Projects
  • Expertisein leveragingOTBI reports for production support impact analysis
