Job summary

The Intersect Group is partnering with a leading organization investing in modernizing its HR systems, seeking a Senior Software Engineer, HR Systems (Oracle HCM Cloud) to drive design, development, integration, and optimization of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable Oracle HCM Cloud implementations, establish standards, mentor engineers, and guide migrations while minimizing risk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing and supporting Oracle HCM Cloud solutions.
• 5+ years of experience with Oracle reporting technologies including Oracle BI, OTBI, BI Publisher (BIP/BIPP), and Oracle Reports Builder
• 4+ years of experience developing HCM Extracts and Fast Formulas
• 4+ years of experience using Oracle HCM Data Loader (HDL) for data conversion, migration, and ongoing maintenance activities
• 3+ years of experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Experience designing and supporting integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and external enterprise applications
• Experience supporting large scale HRIS transformations, Oracle implementations, cloud migrations, or related enterprise initiatives
• Strong communication, mentoring, problem solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently and influence technical direction

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable Oracle HCM Cloud solutions aligned with business and HR operational requirements
• Translate functional and business requirements into technical designs and system solutions
• Lead the development of Oracle HCM Cloud reports, integrations, HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, and data management processes
• Design and support integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and external enterprise applications
• Establish and promote Oracle development best practices, standards, and governance processes
• Mentor developers and support teams to expand internal Oracle expertise and technical capabilities
• Support Oracle Cloud migrations, implementations, upgrades, and HRIS transformation initiatives
• Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for system optimization, performance improvements, and automation

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, HR Systems (Oracle HCM Cloud) to serve as a technical leader in the design, development, integration, and optimization of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions. This individual will play a key role in supporting enterprise HR operations while helping accelerate the organization's transition to Oracle technologies.

In this role, you will partner closely with business stakeholders, functional analysts, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable Oracle HCM Cloud solutions. You will provide hands on technical leadership, establish development standards, mentor team members, and drive the successful adoption of Oracle technologies while minimizing operational risk throughout migration and transformation initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Cloud certifications in OCI and/or Oracle HCM Cloud


• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)


• Experience supporting Core HR, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, and Talent Management functions


• Experience leading or supporting Oracle HCM implementations, upgrades, or migration projects


• Experience working within Agile software development environments
  
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
