Job summary

SoftPathTechnologies is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion SCM Functional Consultant to support a highly integrated supply chain environment. The role involves translating business requirements into functional validation scenarios and ensuring end-to-end business processes are tested.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Oracle Fusion SCM functional experience.
• Experience with multiple Fusion SCM modules and end-to-end testing.
• Experience coordinating onsite/offshore QA and UAT activities.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze functional requirements across Oracle Fusion SCM and integrated applications.
• Provide functional guidance and coordinate to offshore QA teams.
• Develop, review, and validate functional test scenarios for business requirements.
• Ensure end-to-end testing across Oracle Fusion, custom apps, and third-party systems.
• Support UAT, regression testing, defect triage, and release readiness.
• Analyze release notes for potential business and integration impacts.
• Develop risk-based regression testing strategies for quarterly updates.
• Validate integrations, interfaces, workflows, and reports.
• Track testing status, risks, dependencies, and blockers with stakeholders.
• Work with multiple application owners to drive defects to resolution.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

Oracle Fusion SCM Functional Consultant

to support a highly integrated supply chain environment involving Oracle Fusion SCM, custom-built applications, and third-party systems.The consultant will work closely with onsite Application Managers, QA leadership, business stakeholders, and offshore QA teams to translate business requirements into functional validation scenarios and ensure end-to-end business processes are thoroughly tested.

Responsibilities

Gather and analyze functional requirements across Oracle Fusion SCM and integrated applications.

Provide functional guidance and coordination to offshore QA teams.

Develop, review, and validate functional test scenarios for business requirements.

Ensure end-to-end testing across custom applications, Oracle Fusion, and third-party systems.

Support UAT, regression testing, defect triage, and release readiness activities.

Analyze Oracle Fusion quarterly release notes and identify potential business and integration impacts.

Develop risk-based regression testing strategies for Oracle Fusion quarterly updates and patches.

Validate Oracle Fusion integrations, interfaces, workflows, reports, and customizations.

Track and communicate testing status, risks, dependencies, and blockers to onsite stakeholders.

Work with multiple application owners to drive defects through resolution.

Act as the onsite functional liaison between business stakeholders and offshore QA teams.

Required Skills

8+ years of Oracle Fusion SCM functional experience.

Strong experience with several of the following modules:Order ManagementInventoryGlobal Order Promising (GOP)ProcurementManufacturingProduct Information Management (PIM)Supply Chain PlanningHands-on experience with

Oracle OTM and GTM

.Strong functional testing and validation experience.

Experience with highly integrated Oracle Fusion environments.

Experience testing end-to-end flows involving

Oracle Fusion, custom applications, and third-party systems

.Experience with Oracle Fusion quarterly release, patch, and regression testing.

Ability to analyze release notes and assess functional/integration impact.

Knowledge of

OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, EDI, and file-based integrations

is preferred.Strong UAT, defect management, and stakeholder coordination experience.

Experience working with onsite/offshore teams.

Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Basis testing knowledge is required.

Location Requirement

Must be based in

California, USA

Must be available to work

onsite in Menlo Park, CA, 3 days per week

Preferred Qualifications

Oracle Fusion SCM implementation or upgrade experience.

Experience supporting Oracle quarterly release cycles.

Experience coordinating QA activities across multiple application teams.

Familiarity with requirement traceability and defect tracking tools.

Experience working with US India offshore delivery teams.
