Job summary

Imagineeer LLC in the United States is seeking an Oracle Fusion HCM Functional SME to support a large-scale HR IT modernization effort for a major federal program. You will lead functional activities across Core HR and Time and Labor and partner with HHS HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective Fusion configurations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on functional experience with Oracle Fusion HCM, including Core HR and Time and Labor.
• Demonstrated experience configuring Oracle Fusion HCM in an enterprise or federal environment.
• Strong understanding of federal HR processes, policies, and compliance requirements.
• Experience developing functional specifications for integrations and data conversions (HDL, HCM Extracts).
• Experience with test planning and execution (SIT, UAT, regression, cross-module validation).
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion security role design and functional access controls.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.

• Create and execute test plans for SIT, UAT, regression testing, and cross-module validation.
• Assist with security role mapping and functional access design.
• Provide analysis, troubleshooting, and guidance during defect resolution and change management activities.
• Advise on the deployment of Oracle Fusion across a large federal organization, including lessons learned, risks, and organizational readiness.
• Prepare documentation, functional designs, process flows, and configuration workbooks.
• Support migration from legacy HR systems, including identifying gaps, impacts, and transition strategies.

About the Role:

Imagineeer is seeking an Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a large-scale HR IT modernization effort for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The Functional SME will lead functional activities across the Oracle Fusion HCM Core HR and Time and Labor modules, partnering with HHS HR, Payroll, Timekeeping, and IT stakeholders to translate federal business requirements into effective system configurations. • PMP, CBAP, or similar business analysis/project certifications.
