Job summary

Jobtailor in Reston, VA seeks a senior data migration engineer to lead end-to-end data migrations from legacy HR systems into Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM. You will develop HDL/HSDL-based ETL pipelines, profile and cleanse large HR datasets, and drive production cutovers with collaboration across Agile/SAFe teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data migration, strong SQL skills, and experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, Oracle ERP Cloud, or similar platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in data migration or ETL.
• 5+ years migrating to Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM or similar.
• Strong SQL and data governance knowledge.
• Experience with HDL/HSDL templates and BI Publisher is a plus.
• Agile/SAFe delivery experience and ability to work on federal projects.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data migration strategies to Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines and mapping using HDL and HSDL templates.
• Profile, cleanse, and validate large HR datasets.
• Lead cutover activities and production go-lives for varied agencies.
• Create runbooks, data dictionaries, and conversion specs.
• Collaborate with ERP/HR interfaces and data governance teams.
• Perform parallel payroll validation to ensure zero variance.
• Provide status updates within Agile/SAFe teams and resolve issues.
