Job summary

Accenture is seeking a transformation-focused Oracle OFS Consultant to modernize field service operations for utilities clients. The role combines OFS expertise with strong consulting, communication, and Scrum delivery skills to align priorities across business, technology, testing, training, and offshore teams.

You will translate operational needs into scalable OFS configurations that improve workforce productivity and customer experience, while guiding teams through new ways of working.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience on Oracle Field Service Cloud solution applications.
• Minimum 3 years as a Technical Designer on an Oracle Field Service Cloud implementation.
• Minimum 3 years working with Configuration Tools components and Java/Groovy.
• Minimum 2 years in field service operations, dispatch, scheduling optimization, or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Support Oracle OFS transformation programs for utilities clients, including process redesign, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and adoption.
• Review acceptance criteria and solution design provided in the Features.
• Create Technical Design documents aligned with solution design and share with Developers.
• Lead walkthroughs of technical design documents with Developers.

You Are:

A transformation-focused Oracle OFS Consultant who helps utilities clients modernize field service operations and deliver measurable business value. You combine hands-on Oracle Field Service experience with strong consulting, communication, and scrum delivery skills. You are comfortable partnering across business, technology, client, product, testing, training, and offshore teams to align priorities, solve complex problems, and guide users through new ways of working. You bring practical knowledge of OFS configuration and adoption, and you know how to translate operational needs into scalable solutions that improve workforce productivity, customer experience, and service execution.

The Work:

• Support Oracle OFS transformation programs for utilities clients, including field service process redesign, solution configuration, testing, training, deployment, and post-go-live adoption.
• Review and understand the acceptance criteria and solution design provided in the Features.
• Create Technical Design documents to satisfy the Feature Acceptance Criteria and aligned with the solution design.
• Walk through technical design documents with the Developers.
• Communicate technical solution and progress to different cross-functional teams.
• Ensure that developed code is in line with the technical specifications and ensure high quality deliverables.
• Analyze and triage defects to recommend fixes.
• Define unit test cases that cover important business scenarios.
• Configure and extend Oracle Utilities products to meet requirements.
• Work closely with the Business and Functional Designers to ensure the technical solution align with the solution approach.
• Lead and coach Developers in the team by imparting knowledge and managing their performance.
• Analyze functional, technical, and integration requirements across scheduling, dispatch, mobile workforce, routing, capacity, and field execution processes.
• Support execution of cutover activities, deployment readiness, change enablement, and stakeholder communications for OFS releases.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

What You Need:

• Minimum of 3 years of working on Oracle Field Service Cloud solution application.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience working as a Technical Designer on an Oracle Field Service Cloud implementation.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience with Configuration Tools components and Java / Groovy.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with field service operations, dispatch management, scheduling optimization, or related areas.
• Experience collaborating across cross-functional business, technology, integration, testing, training, client, and offshore teams.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (6 years) work experience. If an Associate's Degree, 3 years of work experience is required.

Bonus Points If:

• You have experience with Oracle Fusion Field Service, or broader Oracle Utilities application ecosystem.
• You have a Scrum Master, SAFe, Agile, or Oracle certification.
• You have experience in utilities operations, field workforce optimization, dispatch, scheduling, routing, mobile workforce, or capacity management.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
