SystemsAccountants in New Jersey seeks an experienced Oracle EPM Architect to own the Oracle EPM environment, with a primary focus on PBCS/Planning and architectural oversight of the Oracle Cloud EPM suite.

The ideal candidate will drive design, development, and optimization of Planning/PBCS applications, oversee integrations with ERP and data warehousing, and partner with Finance and IT leadership to define standards, roadmap, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience with Oracle EPM/Hyperion technologies, with strong hands-on experience in PBCS/Planning.
  • Deep understanding of Oracle Planning architecture, application design, calculations, metadata, security, and integrations.
  • Experience with one or more additional Oracle EPM Cloud applications such as FCCS, EDMCS, ARCS, PCMCS, Narrative Reporting, or Tax Reporting.
  • Strong understanding of EPM integrations, data flows, and enterprise finance system architecture.
  • Experience with Oracle EPM tools and technologies such as Data Integration/Data Management, Groovy, REST APIs, Smart View, and automation/scripting.
  • Ability to operate at both the architectural/strategic level and hands-on technical level.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, IT, and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience leading EPM implementations, enhancements, migrations, or optimization initiatives is highly preferred.

  • Serve as the technical and architectural owner of the Oracle EPM environment, with a primary focus on PBCS/Planning.
  • Design, develop, and optimize Oracle Planning/PBCS applications, including dimensions, hierarchies, business rules, forms, workflows, calculations, and security.
  • Provide architectural oversight across the broader Oracle Cloud EPM suite and ensure applications work effectively together.
  • Define and maintain the Oracle EPM architecture, standards, and roadmap in partnership with Finance and IT leadership.
  • Evaluate existing EPM processes and identify opportunities to improve performance, scalability, automation, and user experience.
  • Lead integrations between EPM and other enterprise applications, including ERP, data warehouse, reporting, and financial systems.
  • Partner with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, and other business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable EPM solutions.
  • Support enhancements, upgrades, implementations, and ongoing administration across the EPM landscape.
  • Establish best practices around application design, data management, security, governance, and release management.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical and application issues and provide guidance to internal teams and external partners.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to EPM administrators, developers, and implementation resources.

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Architect to take ownership of a growing Oracle EPM environment, with a primary focus on PBCS / Oracle Planning and architectural oversight across the broader Oracle Cloud EPM suite.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on EPM professional to help shape the organization’s EPM architecture, roadmap, and ongoing optimization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in PBCS/Planning, while having the breadth to oversee and integrate additional EPM applications including FCCS, EDMCS, ARCS, PCMCS, Narrative Reporting, and related Oracle EPM technologies.
