Job summary

SMX is seeking accomplished Associates for developing, customizing, and maintaining Oracle E-Business Suite applications in Austin. The role involves writing PL/SQL scripts, configuring modules, and troubleshooting to support business processes and client requirements.

You will collaborate with functional teams, participate in data migration and integrations, and perform testing of RICE components while documenting solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oracle EBS development.
• Active clearance or public trust based on sponsor.
• Strong SQL/PL/SQL skills and EBS architecture knowledge.
• Experience with data migration and integrations.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and OAF.
• Exposure to Oracle R12.2.x application schema and ability to create queries.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Development and customization: Design and develop custom applications, reports, extensions, and workflows within Oracle EBS to meet business needs.
• Integration: Build and maintain interfaces for data migration and integration with other systems, often using XML Publisher or APIs.
• Technical support: Provide day-to-day support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis for the Oracle EBS environment.
• System administration: Perform system analysis, conduct upgrades, and ensure system performance, stability, and data integrity.
• Testing: Perform functional testing and debugging of RICE components.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for all development processes and solutions.
