Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Oracle EBS R12 Financials – L3 Functional Consultant for a 06+ months contract in Dallas, TX with remote options.

This role requires deep R2R expertise, RCA and issue governance, end‑to‑end financial process knowledge, and strong communication to support day‑to‑day and month‑end activities, with hybrid on‑site/remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS or equivalent.
• 14–16 years of Oracle EBS R12 functional support experience.
• Strong GL/configurations and end-to-end financial process knowledge.
• Deep knowledge of R2R data flow, tables, and integrations.
• Experience with RCA and solution governance.

Responsibilities

• Act as L3 functional escalation point for Oracle EBS R12 R2R modules.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues, reconciliations, consolidation, translation, new ledger set ups and legal entity set ups.
• Analyse and resolve medium to complex functional issues that cannot be resolved by L2 support.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and support permanent fixes.
• Monitoring, coordinating and guiding team to control the number of open tickets.
• Resolve functional break-fix calls either permanently or by workarounds.
• Handle issues related to data in the production instance.
• Follow up on SRs, patches, and issues to ensure resolution.
• Conduct training for power users on the application and support functionalities.
• Working with the client and gathering the functional requirement for enhancements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and error detection/correction
• Provide 24/7 in-person or Zoom support for priority / critical day-to-day operational issues.
• Provide 24/7 in-person or Zoom support for month-close activities.
• Monitor integrations for data leakage and error handling.
• Perform smoke testing after planned/unplanned system outages to ensure stability.
• Resolve functional issues related to Oracle E-Business Suite related to R2R cycle.
• Responsible for maintaining the client SLAs.

Immediate need for a talented Oracle EBS R12 Financials – L3 Functional Consultant. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Dallas TX (Remote).

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 14-16 years of Oracle EBS R12 functional support experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in:
• General Ledger and configurations.
• Deep understanding of end‑to‑end financial process flows and accounting impacts.
• Deep knowledge of R2R data flow, tables, and integrations.
• Expertise with APIs, Interfaces and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Experience with Level 3 support, RCA, and solution governance.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Work on site at the client office in hybrid model.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and escalatethe issues effectively.
