Job summary

SamaraTech LLC in Gaithersburg, MD seeks an experienced Oracle EBS Technical Consultant (Finance) for a long-term contract. The role focuses on Oracle E-Business Suite with strong GL/AP/AR/FA/CM/PO expertise.

You will design, customize, integrate, and support core EBS financial apps, data migrations, interfaces, and reports, ensuring scalable and robust financial solutions for our clients.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle EBS financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, PO).
• Proficient in designing, developing, customizing, integrating, and supporting EBS financial applications.
• Experience with data conversions, interfaces, workflows and reports.
• Familiarity with ADOP for R12.2 production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and implement technical solutions within Oracle EBS R12 environment.
• Support and enhance technical architecture for GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and PO.
• Build and maintain inbound/outbound interfaces using PL/SQL, REST/SOAP Web Services, and OIC.
• Develop data migration scripts, staging logic, and SQL*Loader scripts.
• Develop and optimize reports using BI/XML Publisher, Oracle Reports, and SQL/PL/SQL.
• Diagnose and optimize SQL/PL/SQL queries and concurrent programs.
• Provide Tier 3 production support and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into design.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Technical Consultant (Finance) for a long-term contract engagement in Gaithersburg, MD. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (R12 / R12.2) with a focus on Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, PO).

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, integrating, and supporting core Oracle EBS financial applications, data conversions, custom interfaces, workflows, and reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Development: Design, code, test, and implement technical solutions (RICEFW objects: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, and Workflows) within Oracle EBS R12 environment.
• Core Financial Modules: Support and enhance technical architecture for Oracle Financial modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), and Purchasing (PO).
• Integration & Customization: Build and maintain outbound/inbound interfaces using PL/SQL, REST/SOAP Web Services, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and API packages to integrate EBS with third-party/legacy systems.
• Data Conversion & Migration: Develop data migration scripts, staging table logic, SQL*Loader scripts, and API wrappers for historic and legacy data migration.
• Reporting & Analytics: Develop and optimize business reports using BI/XML Publisher, Oracle Reports, and SQL/PL/SQL.
• Performance Tuning: Diagnose, analyze, and optimize SQL/PL/SQL queries, database packages, and concurrent programs to improve system throughput and batch performance.
• Production Support & Troubleshooting: Provide Tier 3 technical support, root-cause analysis, bug fixes, and patch evaluations (using ADOP for R12.2) for production issues.
• Collaboration: Partner with functional leads, business analysts, database administrators, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs
