Job summary

CyberCoders in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a local Oracle EBS DBA with strong EBS 12.2 administration experience to maintain, support, and optimize Oracle EBS environments. You will collaborate with application, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure high availability and performance.

The role requires hands-on database expertise, experience with cloning, patching, upgrades, and RMAN, plus a focus on security and disaster recovery. Competitive base salary with bonus and RSUs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2 administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 12c/19c.
• Experience with EBS cloning, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with RMAN backup and recovery.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience with automation and scripting (Shell, Python, Java, etc.).
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2 environments
• Perform Oracle Database installation, upgrades, patching, cloning, and migrations
• Manage EBS application tier and database tier components
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize database operations
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
• Support EBS patching using ADOP and online patching methodologies
• Work closely with developers and functional teams on deployments and production support
• Ensure system security, compliance, and high availability
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
