Job summary

Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory is seeking an Oracle EBS Business/Systems Analyst to bridge business needs with technical solutions in enterprise financial systems. You will work with General Ledger and Accounts Payable, designing and validating configurations, reports, and interfaces to support financial integrity and scalable growth.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, collaborating with developers, performing SQL-driven data validation, and supporting month-end close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting Information Systems, MIS, Accounting, or related field.
• 8+ years designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise applications with 5+ years in Oracle E-Business Suite or similar ERP.
• Experience with three or more Oracle EBS modules (GL, AP, AR, Projects/Contracts, or Billing).

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document requirements, translating into functional/technical specs for Oracle EBS.
• Configure and optimize General Ledger and Accounts Payable modules to meet compliance and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with developers to design, test, and deploy integrations and reports.
• Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation using SQL and diagnostic tools.
• Support month-end/year-end close activities and journal processing issues.
• Resolve invoice processing, supplier payments, holds, accruals, and GL postings issues.
• Develop and maintain functional designs, test scripts, and documentation.
