The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks a Senior Business Solutions Analyst – Core Financial Systems to drive transformation across financial systems. You will lead cross-functional teams, evaluate Oracle EBS configurations, and ensure controls and compliance are integrated into system changes.

Ideal candidates hold a strong accounting/finance background, 8+ years in enterprise applications, and 5+ years with Oracle EBS, plus SDLC experience and clear communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, AIS, MIS, accounting or related field.
• 8+ years designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise applications; 5+ years Oracle EBS experience.

Responsibilities

• Guide and mentor a team of business systems analysts.
• Partner with Finance to drive a transformation strategy.
• Provide techno-functional guidance across Oracle EBS and integrations.
• Collaborate with development teams to build consensus and deliver solutions.
• Develop BRDs, FRDs, use cases, and process flows.
• Assess changes for impacts on upstream/downstream systems, data, and controls.
• Lead technical projects and workstreams from planning to implementation.
• Apply accounting, federal cost principles, and compliance knowledge to changes.
• Translate complex business and technical information for executives.
