Job summary
MWResource, Inc. seeks an experienced Oracle DBA to manage on-premises Oracle databases on UNIX (AIX/RHEL). You will monitor performance, support CI releases at the database layer, and drive automation to improve services. Collaboration with Java and .NET teams is essential, and you’ll participate in Agile SCRUM processes.
The role offers a 12-month engagement with potential extensions and a base pay range noted as $60–$77/hour, along with comprehensive US benefits.
Qualifications
- Experience administering On-prem Oracle databases on UNIX (AIX/RHEL).
- Experience monitoring Oracle instances with OEM.
- Experience with Oracle Dataguard and Oracle RAC.
- Understanding of Oracle architecture and performance tuning.
- Experience with automation/configuration tools like Puppet/Ansible.
- Familiarity with Oracle pluggable databases.
Responsibilities
- Day to day administration of On-prem Oracle databases and UNIX servers.
- Monitor the Oracle database infrastructure to ensure optimum performance.
- Support CI code releases at the database layer.
- Improve database support via automation and tooling.
- Collaborate with Java and .NET developers using Oracle.
- Participate in Agile SCRUM meetings.
