Qualifications

• Experience administering Oracle databases running on UNIX (IBM AIX or RedHat Linux).
• Experience with monitoring Oracle instances via OEM.
• Experience with Oracle Dataguard and Oracle RAC.
• Understanding of Oracle and database concepts and architecture.
• Experience tuning queries and the overall database for performance.
• Experience with configuration management tools like puppet/Ansible.
• Experience with containers and Oracle’s pluggable database infrastructure.
• Excellent communication/customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Day to day administration of Oracle databases and Exadata.
• Monitoring Oracle database infrastructure for optimum performance.
• Supporting continuous integration code releases at the database layer.
• Improving database services via automation.
• Work with developers using Oracle database.
