Job summary

BCforward is seeking an Oracle DBA / Infrastructure Automation Engineer to join our team in Plano, TX, or Charlotte, NC, on a 11-month contract. The role emphasizes Infrastructure as Code for Oracle databases using Terraform and Ansible to deploy at scale on DBaaS Exadata platforms.

The candidate will design and build Terraform modules, deploy via Ansible, and ensure compliance with bank standards. Hybrid onsite requirement trains the candidate for 3 days per week on-site.

Qualifications

• SQL/PLSQL proficiency for RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Python and shell scripting for automation.
• CI/CD and automation tooling experience across pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design Terraform modules for Oracle databases meeting bank standards.
• Build IaC using Ansible playbooks to deploy Oracle DB on DBaaS Exadata platforms.
• Test modules in a lab, identify defects, and resolve issues with the team.
• Design end-to-end Oracle solutions via Terraform-based IaC.
