Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-availability database solutions and performance tuning.
• Configure replication, log shipping, and standby servers for disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with IT leadership to design solutions and resolve Tier III issues.
• Define BI data needs and design data warehouses and data marts.
• Implement BI tools, dashboards, scorecards, and analytic apps.
• Develop standards and procedures for installation, monitoring, security, and migrations.
• Perform performance tuning across platforms including data models.
• Design secure data-exchange standards and align DB strategies with business.
• Mentor peers by providing guidance and training.
