Job summary

A leading cloud services provider is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA in Weehawken, NJ. This role includes managing DBaaS infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, and overseeing deployment strategies. Candidates should have experience with Oracle technologies, including Enterprise Manager and Internet Directory, along with strong communication skills to engage with development teams. Flexibility for after-hours work is required. This position offers a 12+ month contract with competitive remuneration.

Qualifications

• Experience in administering Oracle Enterprise Manager in an enterprise environment.
• Experience in administering Oracle Internet Directory in an enterprise environment.
• Experience in administering Oracle Appliances including patching and management.
• Strong tuning experience in analyzing performance metrics for Oracle databases.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle technologies such as DBMS, Data Guard, RAC, RMAN.

Responsibilities

• Oversee DBaaS release deployment and manage associated infrastructure.
• Maintain core infrastructure including Oracle Cloud services.
• Perform vulnerability and life cycle management of core infrastructure.
• Coordinate with engineering for new functionality releases.
