Job summary

Kforce Inc. is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our enterprise client focused on ensuring 24x7 availability and performance of Oracle-based infrastructure. The role emphasizes Oracle 19c, OEM monitoring, and real-time data replication.

The DBA will work with onshore and offshore teams, implement GoldenGate, validate data with Veridata, and perform routine backups and recovery while contributing to automation through shell scripting.

Qualifications

• Production experience with Oracle Database (preferably 19c).
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring/administration.
• Familiarity with Oracle GoldenGate or willingness to learn.
• Veridata for data validation and synchronization.
• Ability to write and troubleshoot shell scripts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 24x7 availability and performance of Oracle databases.
• Monitor databases using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Support and maintain Oracle 19c environments across teams.
• Implement and manage Oracle GoldenGate for real-time replication.
• Utilize Veridata to validate data consistency across replicas.
• Perform routine maintenance, backups, and recovery operations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams.
• Write and maintain shell scripts for automation and monitoring.
