Job summary

Infinity Tech Group Inc. seeks an experienced Oracle DBA with GoldenGate expertise to support data replication and HA solutions in a California-based, remotely accessible role.

The candidate will install, tune, and troubleshoot GoldenGate across heterogeneous environments, leverage OEM monitoring, and work with GoldenGate Microservices to ensure robust, observable replication pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate environments from 12c to 23ai.
• Hands-on tuning and optimization of GoldenGate configurations.
• Installation, setup and troubleshooting of GoldenGate.
• HD replication performance improvements for parallel setups.
• Regular Oracle DB operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Support Oracle GoldenGate environments 12c/19c/21c/23ai.
• Tuning GoldenGate for performance.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot GoldenGate.
• Improve replication performance for parallel setups.
• Operate and maintain Oracle databases.
• Create shell scripts for reporting and automation.
• Work with OS environments for GoldenGate.
• Implement GoldenGate in heterogeneous environments.
• Maintain GoldenGate Microservices.
• Generate reports and monitor GG with OEM hourly.
• Configure High Availability for GG.
• Manage ACFS/DBFS as GG storage.
• Zero-downtime upgrades using GG.
• Bidirectional GG configurations.
• Downstream GG configurations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• Experience in supporting Oracle GoldenGate environments starting from Version 12c, 19c, 21c and 23ai
• Good understanding and hands-on in Goldengate tuning
• Working Knowledge in Oracle GoldenGate installation, setup and troubleshooting.
• GoldenGate replication performance improvement for parallel setup.
• Regular Oracle database operation and maintenance knowledge.
• Knowledge of shell scripts relevant to reporting and Oracle database and GoldenGate.
• Knowledge of operating systems relevant to Oracle databases and GoldenGate.
• Should have implemented Goldengate on Heterogeneous environment.
• Should have hands-on experience with GoldenGate Microservices.
• GoldenGate installation, Configuration, and troubleshooting various issues on Primary and ADG databases and generating GoldenGate reports and monitoring by OEM on an hourly basis.
• Knowledge of Goldengate High Availability configuration.
• Knowledge of Cluster file system (ACFS/DBFS).
• Zero downtime database upgrade using Goldengate.
• Bidirectional Goldengate configuration.
• Should have hands-on experience Goldengate downstream configuration.
