Our client is seeking an Oracle DBA to join their team in Las Vegas, NV. This is a remote contract opportunity!

Successful candidates excel at and enjoy:

• Analyze and configure Oracle databases supporting Konami Synkros to emit user-level and system events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align Oracle logging with standards used in SQL Server environments.
• Set up secure and efficient data pipelines from Oracle to Cribl using agents or collectors.
• Optimize logging mechanisms for real-time alerting and visibility.
• Troubleshoot database integration and event forwarding issues.
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to stakeholders.
• Proven experience as an Oracle DBA, ideally with exposure to Konami Synkros or similar gaming systems.
• Strong understanding of Oracle logging, auditing, and customizing audit trails.
• Experience with Cribl, data routing, or log aggregation tools.
• Proficient in database tuning, event monitoring, and scripting (SQL/PLSQL, Bash, etc.).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience integrating Oracle databases with SIEM or observability platforms.
• Familiarity with gaming/hospitality systems and compliance requirements.

Hourly: $50-60 per hour
