Job summary

BCforward is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator to support Oracle 19c and 23ai along with Exadata environments. This role emphasizes high availability, performance, and robust backup/recovery strategies.

You will implement patches, automate tasks with Shell and Python, and participate in incident resolution with strong documentation practices. A hybrid on-site schedule is required in Plano, TX.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Oracle Database Administration with Oracle 19c and 23ai.
• Experience supporting and managing Oracle Exadata environments.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting and Python for automation.
• Strong knowledge of Data Guard, RMAN, Oracle Recovery Appliance, and Fleet Patching and Provisioning (FPP).
• Experience with database backup, recovery, patching, performance tuning, and operational support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exposure to AI technologies and Large Language Models (LLMs) is a plus.
