Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains such as software, cloud, or data infrastructure.
• 3+ years designing or consulting for applications and infrastructure.
• 10+ years IT development or implementation experience.
• Experience owning large projects from concept to deployment.
• Experience architecting or operating Oracle solutions at scale.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical advisor for AWS's key customers running or migrating to RDS for Oracle and Oracle Database @AWS.
• Guide customers on RDS operational best practices including performance, scaling, HA/DR, monitoring, maintenance, patching, backup and security.
• Design and validate RDS Oracle architectures leveraging RDS-specific capabilities.
• Partner with the RDS service team as the voice of the customer and surface recurring pain points.
• Engage with customer engineers in whiteboard sessions, architecture reviews, and technical deep dives.
• Develop and publish technical thought leadership content including blogs and white papers.
