Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an Oracle Migration Specialist Solutions Architect to act as the technical authority for Oracle workload migrations.

You will own the database conversation from estate assessment to target-state design on AWS, guiding customers through RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and Exadata considerations. You will build POCs, synthesize performance data, and present migration options across ODB@AWS, RDS for Oracle, Aurora PostgreSQL, or lift-and-shift to EC2.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains and related IT experience.
• Design or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
• Experience migrating legacy Oracle solutions to cloud or modern architectures.

Responsibilities

• Assess complex Oracle estates and deliver migration architecture guidance.
• Design target-state architectures across AWS Oracle offerings and EC2.
• Build and present TCO business cases to drive deals.
• Lead technical workshops and executive architecture sessions to accelerate velocity.
• Collaborate with sales, services, and partners to generate pipeline.
