Job summary

4A Consulting, LLC, a Baltimore-based women-owned boutique, seeks an Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Architect to lead functional architecture, implementation, and support of Oracle Fusion Financials.

The role requires 12+ years in Oracle Cloud ERP/Oracle EBS, 2+ full-lifecycle implementations, and strong client-facing skills to translate business requirements into robust solutions. Hybrid position in the DMV region; local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud ERP and/or Oracle EBS.
• Minimum of 2+ full-lifecycle Oracle Cloud Financials implementations.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
• Broad business background with strong interpersonal and client communication skills.
• Experience with full project lifecycle activities: Requirements, Design, Development, Testing, Rollout.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Structures and module-specific configurations.
• Ability to perform requirements analysis and develop functional design documents.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional concepts and solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience across multiple business processes.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Architect to lead the functional architecture, implementation, configuration, and support of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Financials. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle EBS, strong functional expertise across Oracle Financials modules, and a proven track record of leading full-lifecycle Oracle Cloud Financials implementations.

This role requires a strong business background, excellent client-facing communication skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into robust Oracle Cloud ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all functional aspects of Oracle Cloud ERP implementation and support across:
• Cloud Accounts Payable
• Cloud Accounts Receivable
• Analyze business requirements and design best-practice technology solutions.
• Interact with client teams to understand business requirements and develop robust functional solutions.
• Assess clients' current-state processes and develop future-state recommendations.
• Lead day-to-day functional activities, including process design and configuration workshops.
• Identify functional gaps and RICEW requirements and support testing activities.
• Participate in requirements gathering and business requirements analysis.
• Align business requirements with Oracle best practices to develop functional solutions.
• Define new and refine existing business processes.
• Develop functional design concepts and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and development of internal processes and intellectual property.
• Participate in project planning and provide Oracle Cloud ERP subject matter expertise.
• Estimate project work and contribute to delivery planning.
• Lead and design Cloud ERP project solutions across Oracle Fusion and financial applications.
• Support planning, designing, implementing, integrating, testing, operating, and maintaining Oracle Fusion financial functions.
• Architect and design technology solutions across multiple business processes.
• Manage cross-functional teams, projects, and vendor relationships as required.
