Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Architect
Contract position – long-term with government, hybrid working arrangement, located in Washington, DC. Candidates must be local to the DMV area.
Responsibilities
- Manage all functional aspects of Oracle Cloud implementation/support of the following modules: Cloud General Ledger, Cloud Accounts Payable, Cloud Accounts Receivable, Cloud Cash Management, Cloud Fixed Assets, Project Portfolio Management Cloud.
- Analyze, design, and configure best practice business solutions.
- Interact with client teams to understand requirements and design robust solutions.
- Develop an understanding of client’s current state processes and develop future state technical recommendations.
- Execute day‑to‑day activities including process design, leading key configuration workshops, identifying gaps, identifying RICEW, and supporting testing.
- Participate in requirement gathering, analyze business requirements, align business requirements and best practices to implement a functional solution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and development of internal processes and intellectual property.
- Define new and refine existing business processes.
- Participate in project planning, providing subject‑matter expertise and estimating work.
Qualifications
- Broad business background with good interpersonal communication skills and thorough understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
- 12+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud ERP/Oracle EBS, with a minimum of 2+ full‑lifecycle Oracle Cloud Financials implementation experience.
- Full life‑cycle project development experience including Requirements, Design, Development, Testing, and Roll‑out.
- Knowledge of enterprise structures, module‑specific configurations, ability to perform requirement analysis and deliver functional design documents for the mentioned modules.
- Ability to quickly understand business requirements and design functional concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience in multiple business processes, architecture and design of technology solutions, and managing cross‑functional teams, projects, vendor management.
- Ability to lead and design Cloud ERP project solutions, manage all aspects of Oracle Fusion and financial applications, support, and operations including planning, designing, implementing, integrating, testing, and supporting and maintaining various functions.
Education
Bachelor’s degree. Familiarity with state/local government accounting, financial, budget and grant training is preferred.
