Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks an experienced Oracle Cloud Engineer to design and implement cloud architectures that meet mission needs. You’ll drive cloud migrations and security‑driven deployments across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.

You will apply IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation, work with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration, and contribute to geospatial production solutions while engaging with leadership on strategy and standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience using software with a cloud‑first development approach.
• 5+ years of experience with OCI enterprise solutions, including on‑premise or hybrid solutions.
• 3+ years of experience with OCI services and cloud‑native architecture patterns, including Compute, Autonomous Database, Exadata Database, security policies, security groups, and network security.
• 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Experience working with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Experience developing and maintaining advanced OCI solutions.
• Experience developing and deploying production geospatial solutions from concept to O&M.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based architectures using OCI to meet client needs.
• Drive cloud migration strategies across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Develop and maintain OCI solutions with security and scalability in mind.

• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.
• Advise on geospatial workloads and production deployment considerations.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to inform strategy and standards.
