PURVIS Systems in New York is seeking an Oracle Cloud Architect to join as a Troubleshooting Coordinator in a hybrid cloud environment. The role collaborates with Network, Application, Systems teams and vendors at client sites in Brooklyn, NY.

The ideal candidate has advanced OCI experience, strong Linux/Windows administration, and hands-on Ansible, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and DevOps tooling. You will design, implement and optimize cloud solutions while ensuring security and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (Advanced).
• Proficient in Linux system administration for app integration.
• Windows admin experience including IIS and SQL Server.
• Strong scripting in Python and shell.
• Expertise with Ansible automation for Linux and Windows.
• Kubernetes containerization and OpenShift management.
• SIEM/Splunk for threat detection and monitoring.
• Cloud security and IAM/WAF configuration.

Responsibilities

• Experience with OCI components: CLI, storage, and integration with compute.
• Develop APIs for Application access to Buckets and Functions for automation.
• Implement cloud security including IAM, WAF, and NSGs.
• Troubleshoot outages using cloud metrics and Splunk.
• Integrate application/OS logs with Splunk or similar.
• Containerize applications and manage Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters.
• Automate DevOps procedures with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
