Job description

Remote – EST hours (9-5, 40 hour work weeks)

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Oracle (Infrastructure) Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of our enterprise Oracle environment across ERP, EPM, Fusion Applications, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise across Oracle’s ecosystem — including ADW, OIC, IAM, and privatized networking architectures — and will play a critical role in ensuring the security, availability, and disaster recovery of our business-critical platforms.

Key Responsibilities

•Architect scalable, resilient, and secure solutions across Oracle ERP, Oracle EPM, Oracle Fusion Applications, and Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW).

•Design and implement Disaster Recovery (DR) architectures for ERP, EPM, Fusion, and database environments, ensuring RTO and RPO meet business requirements.

•Develop strategies for private access, minimizing public exposure through Private Endpoints, Service Gateways, Private DNS, and network security policies.

•Lead integration efforts across cloud and on-premises systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

•Build and manage IAM structures within OCI for secure and role-based access, aligning with enterprise security and compliance policies.

•Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to design end-to-end secure and high-availability solutions.

•Document architecture blueprints, disaster recovery runbooks, and standard operating procedures.

•Evaluate new Oracle offerings and emerging technologies, recommending improvements for scalability, security, and operational efficiency.

•Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, bridging technical expertise with business strategy.

Required Qualifications

•8+ years of experience in Oracle architecture, administration, or engineering roles.

•Deep expertise in Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle EPM Cloud, Oracle Fusion Applications, and Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW).

•Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Database.

•Strong experience designing and implementing Oracle Disaster Recovery architectures, including cross-region and cross-tenant strategies.

•In-depth knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for application and data integration.

•Expertise in Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM) and OCI Security best practices.

•Strong understanding of private networking within OCI, including Service Connectors, Private Endpoints, and secure hybrid connectivity.

•Practical experience integrating Oracle Cloud with on-premises networks and systems.

Preferred Skills

•Knowledge of high-availability and DR strategies beyond OCI (multi-cloud or hybrid cloud scenarios).

•Experience designing solutions under compliance frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO 27001.

•Familiarity with automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform for OCI preferred).

•Strong troubleshooting skills across complex distributed environments.
