PTC Alliance in Alliance, Ohio seeks an Oracle Business Analyst to maintain and enhance Oracle E-Business Suite and related applications. You will work with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Procurement to analyze needs and deliver effective technology solutions.

Reporting to IT Applications Manager, you will gather requirements, support configurations, testing, and upgrades, while keeping stakeholders informed of priorities and project status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, BIS, CS, or related field.
• 3+ years supporting enterprise apps/ERP or business analysis.
• Experience with Oracle EBS, preferably in manufacturing.
• Understanding ERP processes and relation to operations.
• Experience gathering requirements, documenting processes, testing, and supporting end users.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with teams.

Responsabilités

• Provide functional support for Oracle EBS and related apps, including troubleshooting and user assistance.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into solutions.
• Support Oracle EBS configuration, integrations, testing, and upgrades.
• Investigate issues, perform root-cause analysis, coordinate corrective actions.

Job Description:

The Oracle Business Analyst supports, maintains, and enhances Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and related business applications to meet the organization's operational and business needs. Reporting to the IT Applications Manager, this position works closely with business stakeholders, end users, and IT resources to analyze business requirements, resolve application issues, improve business processes, and deliver effective technology solutions. The successful candidate will possess strong Oracle EBS functional knowledge, business analysis skills, and the ability to collaborate across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and other business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for Oracle EBS and related business applications, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and user assistance.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate needs into application solutions.
• Support Oracle EBS configuration, enhancements, integrations, testing, and system upgrades as appropriate to assigned responsibilities.
• Investigate application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate corrective actions with technical teams and external support resources.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes, application functionality, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, test scripts, and user documentation.
• Coordinate and execute system testing and user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Support application projects and enhancements from requirements gathering through implementation and post-deployment support.
• Collaborate with onsite, contract, offshore, and technical resources to coordinate issue resolution, knowledge transfer, and project delivery.
• Maintain effective communication with business users and IT leadership regarding issues, priorities, project status, and recommended solutions.
• Follow established IT change-management, security, documentation, and application support procedures.

Qualifications: Required

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, ERP systems, or business analysis functions.
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Understanding of ERP business processes and the relationship between business operations and application functionality.
• Experience gathering business requirements, documenting processes, testing solutions, and supporting end users.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with both business and technical teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with internal teams and external service providers.

Preferred

• Experience with Oracle EBS 12.x.
• Functional experience in one or more Oracle modules, such as Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Inventory, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Planning/ASCP, Financials, Quality, or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
• Experience with manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution business processes.
• Familiarity with SQL and Oracle database concepts for application troubleshooting and data analysis.
• Experience with application integrations, EDI, MES, reporting, analytics, or workflow automation.
• Experience supporting application implementations, upgrades, or continuous improvement initiatives.
