Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Oracle/ETL Developer to join our data engineering team. You will design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines, load large datasets from multiple vendors, and ensure data quality through cleansing and transformation steps.

You will translate business requirements into efficient SQL/PLSQL objects, automate batch jobs with Unix scripting, and participate in code reviews to improve reliability and performance. Hybrid onsite work from Jersey City, NJ is expected.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in communicating technical designs and capabilities to non-technical team members, product owners, and partners.
  • ETL Processing with Python, Oracle, Unix - Batch ETL and Real Time Stream Processing.
  • Code reviews and identify edge cases, and provide solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Load large datasets from multiple vendors and perform data cleansing and transformations.
  • Develop and tune Oracle SQL/PLSQL objects; create and maintain processes.
  • Automate batch job processing with Unix shells and SQL Loader control files.
  • Design logical/physical data models and document data mappings for change requests.
