Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Data Engineer with experience in ETL development, data processing, and workflow modernization. The role focuses on analyzing Informatica workflows and migrating to Python-based ETL solutions while supporting enterprise data initiatives.

You will develop ETL pipelines, build batch-processing solutions with Java Spring Batch, and assist in migrating legacy workflows to cloud-based architectures. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to success.

Qualifications

  • ETL development and migration experience (preferably Informatica).
  • Strong Java and Spring Boot; Python-based ETL.
  • Experience with data processing and workflow modernization.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.
  • Experience analyzing legacy ETL workflows and migrating to modern architectures.
  • Financial services industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing Informatica workflows, mappings, and data transformations to support modernization efforts.
  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Python and SQL.
  • Build and enhance batch-processing solutions using Java Spring Batch.
  • Support migration of legacy data workflows to modern cloud-based architectures.
