The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) in Washington, DC is seeking an Oracle Applications Support Manager to lead Oracle Financials and EPM support within the DIFS Center. You will supervise functional analysts, coordinate with the OCIO team, and guide upgrades, patches, testing and deployments of system enhancements.
The role requires at least six years of related experience, including supervising staff and knowledge of public sector accounting.
The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) whose mission is to enhance the fiscal and financial stability, accountability and integrity of the Government of the District of Columbia is in search of an Oracle Applications Support Manager. This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Financial Operations and Systems (OFOS), District Integrated Financial System (DIFS) Support Center. The incumbent is responsible for leading and managing Oracle Financial and Oracle EPM functional analysis and providing solutions to resolve issues impacting business operations. The incumbent also assists with ensuring timely upgrades, patching, testing and implementation of DIFS modifications and enhancements.
Six (6) years of progressive work experience performing the related duties and responsibilities such as: overseeing financial systems and processes; leading business teams to implement system enhancements and resolve system issues; providing project management oversight; and experience supporting Oracle eBusiness Suite and/or Oracle Financial Cloud. Incumbent must have at least one (1) year of work experience supervising or providing direction and guidance to lower-level staff. Must also have knowledge of public sector accounting and municipal financial operations.
