Job summary

REV LLC is seeking a hands-on Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) Developer and Administrator for a six-month consulting engagement to migrate Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) content to OAC.

The ideal candidate will have experience with OAS-to-OAC migrations, semantic models, BAR-file migrations, and cloud administration, along with strong SQL troubleshooting and independent problem solving.

Responsibilities

About the Opportunity

REV is seeking a hands-on Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) Developer and Administrator for a six-month consulting engagement supporting the migration of Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) to OAC.

The ideal candidate has practical experience with OAS-to-OAC migrations, semantic models, repository files, cloud administration, BAR-file migration, and independent troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Migrate OAS content and configurations to OAC.
• Export RPD repositories to BAR files and import BAR files into OAC.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot semantic models and repository configurations.
• Configure OAC security, access, and environment settings.
• Write and optimize SQL for analytics and reporting.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, migration, performance, and semantic model issues.
• Validate migrated content and support testing.
• Document migration activities, configurations, issues, and resolutions.

Qualifications and Technical Experience

• Three to five years of relevant Oracle Analytics development, administration, or migration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud and Oracle Analytics Server.
• Direct experience exporting RPD repositories to BAR files and importing them into OAC.
• Experience developing semantic models and administering OAC environments.
• Strong SQL troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
• Knowledge of analytics migration, testing, validation, OCI, and ETL tools such as ODI or ODI-C.

Engagement Requirements

• Willingness and ability to work as a 1099 independent contractor for six months.
• Ability to demonstrate personal, hands-on experience with OAC/OAS migration.
• Ability to successfully complete all client-required security requirements before accessing client systems and information.
