Job summary

REV LLC is seeking a hands-on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administrator for a six-month consulting engagement. The role focuses on cloud infrastructure, networking, IAM, monitoring, security, and troubleshooting in a remote US setting.

The ideal candidate will configure and maintain secure cloud environments, resolve incidents, document configurations, and work with Terraform and OCI Resource Manager. OCI certification and 1099 contractor status are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering OCI or comparable public cloud platform.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security rules, routing, DNS, and connectivity.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting IAM, access policies, federation, or single sign-on.
• Experience monitoring cloud infrastructure, investigating incidents, and performing root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot OCI infrastructure and services.
• Configure VCNs, NSGs, security lists, DNS, routing, firewalls, DRGs, VPNs, FastConnect, and VCN peering.
• Manage IAM policies, compartments, groups, dynamic groups, federation, and single sign-on.
• Support Microsoft Entra ID integration.
• Monitor metrics, alarms, logs, capacity, utilization, and performance.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Apply cloud security, access management, and operational best practices.
• Use Terraform and OCI Resource Manager where applicable.
• Support hybrid-cloud connectivity and document configurations and resolutions.

The ideal candidate can independently configure and maintain secure cloud environments, resolve infrastructure issues, investigate root causes, and document configurations and solutions.

• Knowledge of cloud capacity, resource utilization, security, and operational support.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Current OCI certification, such as OCI Architect Associate or OCI Architect Professional.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Terraform, OCI Resource Manager, and hybrid-cloud environments is preferred.

Engagement Requirements

• Willingness and ability to work as a 1099 independent contractor for six months.
• Ability to demonstrate personal, hands‑on experience with cloud infrastructure administration.
• Ability to provide the exact name and current status of the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certification held.
• Ability to successfully complete all client‑required security requirements before accessing client systems and information.
