Job summary

Programmers.io seeks an experienced Oracle Agile PLM Data Migration Expert / Software Engineer to migrate legacy PLM data to Oracle Cloud PLM+. The role covers full/base and incremental migrations, including Items, BOMs, Changes, AML and FileVault data, with a focus on high-volume extractions and performance tuning.

You will collaborate with PLM+, DBA, SME and Integration teams, produce technical designs and ensure data profiling, validation and migration readiness across dry runs and UAT.

Qualifications

• Strong Oracle Agile PLM experience.
• Experience with Agile PLM Item, BOM, Change & FileVault data.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud PLM / PLM+ is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation & validation.
• Experience with high-volume data extraction and performance tuning.
• Strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop SQL/PLSQL/SDK-based extraction scripts for high-volume data.
• Implement revision-based extraction including complete revision history.
• Perform data profiling, quality validation, completeness & referential integrity checks.
• Optimize SQL queries, indexes and batch processing for migration performance.
• Handle FileVault attachments, file paths, metadata and cloud ingestion preparation.
• Support data staging, transformation and mapping activities.
• Participate in dry runs, mock migrations, UAT and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with PLM+, DBA, SME and Integration teams.
• Create technical documentation including Conceptual/Technical Designs, Technical Impact Assessments, BRDs and RICEFW Technical Specifications.

The role involves migrating Items, BOMs, Changes, AML, and FileVault data from legacy Oracle Agile PLM to a cloud-based Oracle Cloud PLM+ platform, including both full/base migration and incremental/delta migration.
