Pyramid Consulting, Inc. has an immediate need for an Agile PLM Data Migration Expert for a 12-month contract in Austin, TX, onsite.

The role focuses on developing extraction scripts, data quality validation, and revision-based extraction to preserve full histories. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in data migration within PLM environments, proficiency in SQL/PLSQL/SDK, and experience with FileVault handling and cloud ingestion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Agile Schema Analysis to understand Item, BOM, Change, AML, and FileVault structures for accurate extraction logic.
• Develop and optimize SQL/PLSQL/SDK-based extraction scripts for high-volume data objects and revisions.
• Perform data quality validation, including profiling, completeness checks, and referential integrity validation.
• Implement revision-based extraction logic to capture full revision histories for PLM migration.
• Optimize performance by tuning queries, indexes, and batch logic to enhance extraction efficiency.
• Manage FileVault handling by extracting attachments and preparing content for cloud ingestion.
• Deliver clean, structured extract files/tables for downstream transformation and mapping.
• Participate in Dry Run & UAT Support, troubleshooting failures and refining extraction logic.
• Collaborate with PLM, DBAs, SMEs, and integration teams to align mapping and validation processes.
• Create comprehensive documentation artifacts, including conceptual and technical designs, impact assessments, and technical specifications

Immediate need for a talented Agile PLM Data Migration Expert. This is a 12 Month contract opportunity with long-term potential and Austin, TX(Onsite).

Key Responsibilities;

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in data migration and PLM environments.
• Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL/SDK for data extraction and manipulation.
• Strong understanding of Agile PLM concepts and data structures.
• Experience with data quality validation techniques and performance optimization strategies.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong documentation skills for technical specifications and business requirements.
• Familiarity with cloud data ingestion processes.
• Experience in iterative mock runs and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
