Job summary

TotalMed is seeking an Operating Room RN for a travel assignment in Oak Lawn, IL. The role centers on circulating, scrub, or RNFA responsibilities within the OR, with primary duties including patient care, medication administration, and pre-/post-operative education.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license and current ACLS/BLS certifications.
• 1-2 years of acute care experience as circulating, scrub, or RNFA considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery patient education.
• Manage medications and record administration.
• Serve as liaison between patients, families and operating team.
