Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking an experienced RN to lead the OR team as an RN - OR, Team Lead. The role focuses on coordinating and evaluating perioperative nursing care, with leadership responsibilities across the surgical service line.

The ideal candidate will have a Nursing degree (BSN preferred), a current RN license, BLS, CNOR within 1 year, and at least 3 years of progressive surgical experience, demonstrating strong organization and collaboration skills in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years progressive surgery experience preferred.
• Evidence of commitment to continuing education.
• Active RN license required, BLS recommended; CNOR within 1 year may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate, coordinate, and evaluate unit activities to provide quality patient care.
• Lead and direct nursing staff within the OR service line.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and quality initiatives.
• Coordinate with Nursing Leadership and operations to achieve goals.
