Job summary

The Spine Hospital of Louisiana seeks a skilled Surgical Technologist to join the team and support sterile operating room procedures. You will assist the surgeon, circulating nurse, and team while maintaining aseptic technique and optimal equipment readiness.

Applicants should have two years of hospital experience, completed surgical technologist training, and current BLS certification; LCC-ST is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of hospital or medical setting experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program preferred.
• Current BLS certification required; LCC-ST preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians as a sterile member of the operating room team.
• Maintains an aseptic environment for each surgical patient.
• Prepares medication under supervision of the circulating nurse.
• Assists in all perioperative areas as needed.
• Cost-effectively maintains supplies and equipment.
