Job summary

Memorial Hermann Southwest is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for the Main OR on a full-time basis. Shift is 3pm-11pm, Monday–Friday, with call responsibilities. The role requires CST certification and BLS, plus a strong background in perioperative care and instrumentation.

3+ years of Main OR experience is preferred; neuro, general, and robotics experience are advantageous. The position emphasizes patient-centered care and collaboration within a high-demand surgical team.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program
• Licenses/Certifications: Certified in Basic Life Support current Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the NBSTSA or NCCT
• Experience / Knowledge / Skills: 3+ years Main OR; neuro, general and robotics experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides expert perioperative patient care using equipment and instrumentation in the Main OR.
• Serves as a scrub assistant to the physician during operative and/or invasive procedures.
• Demonstrates aseptic technique and ensures patient safety and care quality.
• Supports department operations and mentors staff as needed.
