Memorial Hermann Southwest is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for the Main OR on a full-time basis. Shift is 3pm-11pm, Monday–Friday, with call responsibilities. The role requires CST certification and BLS, plus a strong background in perioperative care and instrumentation.
3+ years of Main OR experience is preferred; neuro, general, and robotics experience are advantageous. The position emphasizes patient-centered care and collaboration within a high-demand surgical team.

Certified Surgical Technologist Main OR
This position is located at Memorial Hermann Southwest.
Position is responsible for providing expert perioperative patient care through the use of equipment and instrumentation. Position functions as a scrub assistant to the physician performing operative and/or invasive procedures. Works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and as outlined in the Surgical Technologist Skills Inventory; uses knowledge/expertise to act as a role model and resource for other staff. Position must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient served as well as knowledge of the principles of growth and development as it relates to the different life cycles.
Education: Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program
Licenses/Certifications: Certified in Basic Life Support current Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
