Job summary

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and push instrument carts.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon during procedures by passing instruments and holding retractors.
• Maintain sterile technique.
• Prepare instruments, supplies and equipment per physician’s preference card.
• Demonstrate timeliness of setup and turnover within the appropriate time frame.
