Must-Haves:

1. Active Professional or Profee Coding Certification – CPC is required.

3. Hospital procedure coding
4. ICD-10 experience
5. Experience in evaluation and management
6. Experience in a high-volume surgical coding environment
7. Experience working with the EPIC system

As a Surgical Cardio Coder, you will work with invasive surgeries and less major hospital visits in Cardiology. Responsibilities include coding TAVRs, Peripheral Vascular, Heart Catheters, and ICD Implants procedures. We seek candidates with experience coding at least one of these procedures. If you have thorough cardiology surgical coding experience and seek a remote role with a great team, this could be a perfect fit!

This role is with a large hospital client in Florida, based in Jacksonville, FL, but fully remote with flexible hours. It is a contract-to-hire position, converting at 6 months. The pay ranges from $25 to $30/hour depending on experience.
