ARMStaffing is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join the Operating Room team in Hickory, NC. This 13-week contract position requires a minimum of 1-2 years of experience across multiple specialties, with a preference for Orthopedic or Neurology experience.

The role involves assisting in OR setup, passing instruments, maintaining a sterile environment, and supporting post-operative care. On-call rotations, including weekends, may be required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Surgical Technologist program with certification.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist in various surgical specialties.
• Ability to work on-call rotations, including weekends if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of the operating room and ensure all necessary equipment is sterile and available.
• Support surgical procedures by passing instruments and supplies to the surgical team.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment throughout surgical procedures.
• Adhere to protocols and procedures as established by the facility's standards.
• Participate in the care and management of post-operative patients when necessary.
