Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Hickory, NC for a 13-week contract. The RN will deliver surgical nursing care, prep and maintain the OR, and assist during procedures in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires an RN license (ADN/BSN) and at least 1 year of OR experience; weekend on-call is required. Travel reimbursement and benefits accompany the assignment through ARMStaffing.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (ADN or BSN) required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the operating room.
• Experience in Orthopedics or Neurosurgery is preferred.
• Ability to work on call during weekends (7 days per month, including Fri, Sat, and Sun).

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to surgical patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain the operating room and required equipment.
• Assist in surgical procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort during surgery.
• Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after surgery.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
