Job summary

Sonoma Valley Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist in patient care in the operating room, ensuring sterile environments are maintained and all necessary surgical instruments are ready. The ideal candidate will have completed a Surgical Technician program and possess BLS certification.

This position requires at least 1 year of experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment to contribute to patient safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year related experience or equivalent.
• Licenses & Certifications: BLS; Surgical Technician Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining a safe operating environment.
• Prepares the operating room for surgery.
• Operates sterilizers and all operating room equipment.

Skills
