Job description

The surgical technologist, under the guidance of the registered nurse, is responsible for the care and safety of patients. The ST handles case preparation, assists with patient preparation, manages instruments and equipment, prepares the sterile field according to the procedure and surgeon's preferences, and anticipates the surgeon's needs.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology (Required)

Experience

• 1 Year experience in an operating room (Preferred)

License/Certifications

• BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
