Job summary

White Oak Medical Center, part of Adventist HealthCare, is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technician for our Operating Room. You will assist the surgical team, pass instruments, prepare the OR, and help sterilize supplies to support safe, efficient patient care.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, graduation from an accredited Surgical Technician program with CST certification, and OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required.
• 1 year hospital Operating Room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Surgical Team in providing a safe, appropriate, and culturally aware patient care.
• Help surgeons during surgery by passing them instruments and other sterile supplies.
• Prepare the Operation Room with all the necessary supplies.
• Properly sterilize required instruments and supplies.
• Serve as surgical assistant as needed.
• Assist in order and restocking Operating Room supplies and instruments.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program and certified
